Last time NZ hosted the RWC was in 1987, that year we won the
Webb Ellis cup and it was the first Rugby World cup ever. John
Kirwin held the cup proudly after winning the final against France.
On Friday 16 September my little brother, Mum, Dad & I went over to Hamilton to
see AllBlacks vs Japan at Waikato Stadium. The
gates were open at six o'clock and kick-off was at eight o'clock. Since we
live in Auckland we got home from the game at quarter to one in the morning!!!
